Ministry of Education By carrying out February 28th 2538 is the date of establishment of the school.เป็นโรงเรียนเฉลิมพระเกียรติพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวภูมิพลอดุลยเดช เนื่องในวโรกาส งานฉลองสิริราชสมบัติครบ 50 ปี. ในวันที่ 9 มิถุนายน พ.ศ. 2539 จัดตั้งโดยกรมสามัญศึกษา กระทรวงศึกษาธิการ โดยถือเอาวันที่ ๒๘ กุมภาพันธ์ พ.ศ. ๒๕๓๘ เป็นวันสถาปนาโรงเรียน
